I purchased this as a gift for my mail lady. She is awesome and brings my dogs treats every day. I was a little disappointed in the tin size, it was a little smaller than I expected. I figured I'd give her a box of the chocolate Scottie dogs in addition. Love all the shortbread products.

As expected, the cookies were delicious. However, many of them were broken in transport.
This is a perfect present for anyone - it's an adorable tin full of deliciousness.

I was excited about the tin because, well, it's a red mailbox! And I THOUGHT that it also became a coin bank once the cookies were eaten. (Seemed obvious by the picture showing the black slot. Unfortunately it does not become a "traditional bank with a coin slot". Fortunately it is filled with 10 delicious shortbread cookies and is still a great tin!
11/7/2016 – Hello! 0n the Post Office Tin - after the cookies are gone, can the part where letters go be removed (it looks like a clear . . .
Response From Walkers Shortbread: Hello! The piece is not removable. There is no actual mail slot on the Post Pox tin.
