A Family Favorite
From Barb 73 of Rochester Hills, Michigan on 12/25/2016.
These tarts are a family favorite. Each one says Merry Christmas in a delicious taste sensation. They are especially good with a hard brandy butter sauce. Twelve seconds in the microwave is just right for warming one tart.

These tarts were absolutely fantastic. I heated them up in the oven and they were warm and wonderful bites of rich fruit. Thanks!

Wonderful flavor! Great product.

This is the second year I have purchased these tarts. I was never fond of mincemeat. My gran made mince pie and I really didn't care for it. Looking at these online though, made me want to try them. I am glad that I did. They are delicious.

12/26/2016 – do the mince pies have to be cooked?
Response From Walkers Shortbread: The mince pies do not have to be cooked and usually are enjoyed cold. The warming up is just a suggestion.
11/6/2016 – 1. Can the miniature Mince Pies be frozen? For how long?2. How long can they be stored in the refrigerator?
Response From Walkers Shortbread: The Mini Mincemeat Tarts can be frozen. Freeze as soon after purchase as possible and within the best before date. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use. Do not refreeze once defrosted. There is no benefit to refrigerating the tarts as they will keep until the best before date in a cool, dry place. However, there would be no issues with refrigerating them until their best before date. We do suggest you bring them to room temperature before use.
